The original watermill has been sympathetically converted to provide lovely self-catering accommodation for up to 6 people—a delightful home from which to explore the surrounding countryside.

About The Mill

The original watermill, set between a shallow mill pond and a rushing waterfall, has been beautifully restored to provide luxury self-catering accommodation for 2-6 people. Original features abound: in the kitchen, behind a glass screen, you'll see the original cogs – the pit wheel, wallower and spur wheel that were powered by the waterwheel on the outside wall. Upstairs you'll find a comfortable living room with views toward Machynlleth and—as an unusual centrepiece—the wooden crown wheel and shaft for the grinding stones.

Bed linen and towels are provided.

In addition, the Watermill has a lovely outside seating area next to the waterfall, a BBQ facility and a large private parking area a few metres away.
