Felin Crewi dates from the 15th century and both cottages retain many original features including a working water wheel.
Both cottages are by the side of the river Dovey which tumbles down from the waterfall towards Machynlleth. The cottages may be ancient but they have been converted to a high standard and are a perfect, comfortable base for exploring the stunning Welsh countryside or enjoying a stress free, refreshing holiday.
For the adventurous, Felin Crewi borders the Snowdonia National Park, boasts excellent Sea Trout fishing in the river Dovey and has many mountain biking trails nearby. For a more relaxed stay there are many stunning beaches around Aberdyfi (Aberdovey), 20 minutes’ drive west of Machynlleth and a host of gentle walks in the stunning countryside surrounding Felin Crewi.
